If you’ve read my articles, and I hope you have, you will remember the restaurant Parc. It’s a special place for me. My fiance and I had our first date and dinner here and it’s always been our favorite French restaurant in Philadelphia. The decor, service and food is second to none. We’ve been here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and late night drinks and have never, ever had a bad experience or meal here. If you want a perfect dining experience, go to Parc.
Amazingly enough, we hadn’t been to Parc in some time for various reasons. We couldn’t even remember the last time we were here for dinner. How time flies! We finally got the time to go for a relaxing dinner and once again, we were not disappointed. We started with their steak tartare and it was just as we remembered, heavenly. Topped with a quail egg, it is so sumptuous and flavorful. It’s one of our favorite appetizers.
For our entrees, we ordered the lamb shank provencal and the seafood bouillabaisse. It is difficult to describe how amazing and delicious our food tasted. The lamb literally fell off the bone and was so tender. When it comes to portion size, they don’t skimp. The lamb was so big, we had to take some of it home. The seafood bouillabaisse was so flavorful and delicious. It was perfection and everything you would expect from the French classic. We have come to expect great things when we go to Parc and they more than deliver every time.
If you are looking for a great meal, no matter what time of day, go to Parc. You will never, ever have a bad meal here. You’ll soon see why it’s our favorite French restaurant and one of our favorite restaurants in the city.
