Make time for Time!

We always enjoy trying out new places, especially if there is live jazz music. We’ve heard so many good things about Time, that we decided it was time to try them out. Time has three areas for you to try and all have live music! There is a whiskey bar, dining room and upstairs Parisian style club that’s only open on Friday and Saturday nights. We tried out the whiskey bar and it was wonderful.

The decor of the whiskey bar was so warm, cozy and inviting. There are dark rich tones throughout and a small stage set up in the corner for the band. Low lighting and candles on the tables and bar just add to the charm of the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming when we told them this was our first visit.

The bar menu had a nice variety of choices for food and drinks. If you love whiskey, you will think you have died and gone to heaven when you see how many options you have! My guess is that Time stocks well over 100 different types of whiskey. Good luck in trying them all!

For food, we ordered their chicken wings, mac & cheese, pulled pork sandwich and a burger. The food was delicious. The wings were one of the best we ever had. The skin was nice and crisp and the chicken itself was juicy and tender. The mac & cheese was amazing! It consisted of crab meat, house smoked bacon, mezzo rigatoni, white cheddar and fontina cheeses. Outstanding! The burger and pulled pork were wonderful and well executed. Both were cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, full of flavor. I would definitely want to come back and try out their full restaurant menu.

For drinks, we started with their “Sweetums” and a house red wine. Both were delicious. I then went on a drink binge-athon. I ordered a cosmopolitan, Moscow mule, champagne cocktail and ended with a glass of red wine. I normally don’t change drinks this much but I wanted to sample a variety of them and see how well our bartender did with a mix of drinks. She did a fantastic job. All the drinks were made perfectly. Not too strong, and you could taste all the ingredients.

As happy hour wore on, the bar area slowly started to fill up and the air also soon filled with music. A three piece jazz band started playing and they were really good. The noise level was perfect as you could still carry a conversation and didn’t have to yell. There’s nothing like listening to good jazz music, sipping on wonderful cocktails, and enjoying good food.

I’m so glad we finally had time to visit Time. The bar area was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back for dinner. Make sure that you make some time to visit Time.
